1. What this site provides

Convertthisnow provides free unit-conversion calculators and related reference articles. The service is provided as-is and free of charge. We may add, change or remove converters and articles at any time without notice.

2. Accuracy and how you may rely on it

We take accuracy seriously. Conversion factors are drawn from published standards, every unit is defined against a single base unit to avoid compounding rounding error, and the full conversion set is tested automatically.

Even so, you must verify results before relying on them for anything consequential. Engineering, medical, legal, financial, aviation, navigation and construction work should use verified professional tools and be checked by a qualified person. See our Disclaimer for the full position.

3. Acceptable use

You may use this site for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or any connected system;
  • Introduce malware, or otherwise attempt to damage or disrupt the service;
  • Use automated systems to scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others;
  • Reproduce substantial parts of the site's written content without permission;
  • Misrepresent the site's output as verified professional advice.

Occasional, reasonable automated access is fine. Sustained scraping that affects availability is not.

4. Intellectual property

The articles, page layouts, design and code on this site are owned by DukaMoja Digital, LLC and protected by copyright.

You may freely quote short extracts with attribution and a link. You may not republish whole articles, or a substantial portion of the site's content, without written permission.

Conversion factors themselves are facts and are not owned by anyone. The numerical value of a metre in feet is not ours to license, and we make no claim over it.

This site links to external websites and uses third-party services, including currency rates. We do not control those sites or services and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. A link is not an endorsement.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend it for maintenance, or permanently, without liability to you.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DukaMoja Digital, LLC is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site — including any loss arising from reliance on a conversion result or an article.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.

We may revise these terms. The version published on this page at the time you use the site is the version that applies. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you retain the protection of any mandatory provisions of your local law.
