Privacy Policy

Effective date: 22 September 2026

This policy explains what data Convertthisnow (https://convertthisnow.com) collects, why, and what control you have over it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

Who we are

Convertthisnow is operated by DukaMoja Digital, LLC of North Brunswick, New Jersey and you can reach us at hello@convertthisnow.com or via the contact page.

What we collect

Every conversion on this site is calculated by JavaScript running on your own device. The values you enter are not transmitted, logged or stored anywhere. If you convert a salary figure, a medical dose or a confidential engineering measurement, that number never leaves your browser.

We do not operate user accounts, so we hold no usernames, passwords or profiles.

Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard server log data: IP address, browser type, referring page, and the date and time of each request. This is generated by the web server itself and is used for security and diagnosing faults. It is retained for a limited period by the host and is not used to identify you.

Advertising

This site does not currently display third-party advertising. If that changes, this policy will be updated before any advertising is served.

The currency converter

The currency converter fetches exchange rates from a third-party service (open.er-api.com) when the page loads. That request necessarily reveals your IP address to that provider, in the same way that loading any external resource does. We send no other information with the request — not the amount you entered, and not the currencies you selected.

If you contact us

If you use the contact form or email us, we receive the name, email address and message you provide. We use that solely to reply to you. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to resolve your enquiry, and we do not add you to any mailing list without a separate, explicit opt-in.

Cookies

Convertthisnow does not currently set cookies for advertising or analytics purposes. The converters need no cookies to work, and this site is a general-audience reference tool. If that changes, this section will be updated to say exactly what is set and why, before any such cookie is served.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Material changes will be noted prominently.
